No. The monthly fee covers all features, unlimited patients, and unlimited encounters. The only additional cost is Stripe's standard processing fee (2.9% + $0.30) for patient payments, which is passed through at cost.

Yes. MedAgento is month-to-month with no long-term contracts. Cancel anytime from your account settings. We'll export your data in standard formats upon request.

Yes. Annual billing saves 20% compared to monthly pricing. Solo Practice is $149/month billed annually, and Group Practice is $119/month per provider billed annually.

Yes. We implement full HIPAA technical safeguards including AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit, role-based access controls, automatic session timeout, and comprehensive audit logging of all PHI access. We execute Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with all customers.

All data is stored in encrypted databases in SOC 2 Type II certified data centers in the United States. Backups are encrypted and stored in geographically separate locations.

Yes. You can export all patient records, encounters, prescriptions, and billing data at any time in standard formats (CSV, JSON). We believe your data belongs to you.

Yes. We provide a Business Associate Agreement free of charge to all customers. BAAs are typically executed within 24 hours of request. Contact security@medagento.com to get started.

The AI Scribe analyzes encounter data and patient context to generate structured SOAP notes, suggest ICD-10 diagnosis codes, and recommend CPT procedure codes. All AI-generated content is marked as decision support. The provider must review and finalize before signing.

Absolutely not. All AI features in MedAgento are decision support tools. The AI suggests, the provider decides. Every AI-generated output must be reviewed by a licensed provider before it's finalized. We clearly label all AI-generated content.

No. Patient data is never used for AI model training. We use Google's Gemini API which has a zero data retention policy for API calls. PHI is only sent when the provider actively requests AI assistance, and all AI interactions are logged in the HIPAA audit trail.

MedAgento includes four AI modules: AI Scribe (SOAP note generation), AI Coding (ICD-10/CPT suggestions with confidence levels), AI Lab Interpretation (clinical analysis of lab results), and AI Clinical Summary (one-click patient history summaries). All powered by Google Gemini 2.5 Flash.

Yes. MedAgento includes e-Prescribing with automatic drug interaction checking against the patient's active medications, allergy alerts, and prescription history tracking. Surescripts integration for electronic routing to pharmacies is coming soon.

Yes. The patient portal includes online appointment booking with real-time availability, appointment type selection, and automatic confirmation and reminders via email and SMS.

Yes. We provide self-service documentation, video walkthroughs, weekly live webinars, and live onboarding sessions. Most users are comfortable with the platform after a single 30-minute session. All training is included at no extra cost.
